Public Schools

The Wilkinsburg School District consists of three elementary schools (Johnston, Kelly, and Turner), Wilkinsburg Middle School, and Wilkinsburg High School. In addition, Wilkinsburg Academy serves students in grades K–12 who are at risk of school failure and in need of a smaller school environment with an increased level of care. For more information about our schools, please visit: http://www.wilkinsburgschools.org/

The public school system is under the governance of the school board, an elected body of concerned citizens who oversee school administrators, advocate for school improvement, and play a vital role in school reform. The board holds legislative sessions, which are open to the public, once a month. For more information, please visit: http://www.wilkinsburgschools.org/board.cfm
